Yosua 1:11

1:11 “Go through the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your supplies, for within three days you will cross the Jordan River and begin the conquest of the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to you.’” ¹ 

Yosua 2:5

2:5 When it was time to shut the city gate for the night, the men left. ²  I don’t know where they were heading. Chase after them quickly, for you have time to catch them!”

Yosua 3:3

3:3 and commanded the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God ³  being carried by the Levitical priests, you must leave here ⁴  and walk ⁵  behind it.

Yosua 6:22

6:22 Joshua told the two men who had spied on the land, “Enter the prostitute’s house ⁶  and bring out the woman and all who belong to her as you promised her.” ⁷

10:25 Then Joshua said to them, “Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! ¹⁴  Be strong and brave, for the Lord will do the same thing to all your enemies you fight.

Joshua Challenges Israel to be Faithful

23:1 A long time ²¹  passed after the Lord made Israel secure from all their enemies, ²²  and Joshua was very old. ²³
